The kit worked okay for me but I ran through the 6 wet sanding sheets they provided fairly quickly. I looked to buy more on the site but they’re unavailable. Sponge block worked well but they should provide more wet sanding sheets and in coarser grits for people working to correct a poor rattle can job. At the end there was still a fair bit of swirl so I got it with some Meguiars I had lying around and that did the trick for the final stage.

This kit truly impressed me (and I don’t impress easily). Watched the Chemical Guys video twice before starting. I also played it, then paused the video to complete each step. This kit is awesome. I wasn't sure if it was going to do what I needed so instead of purchasing the big bottles first, I purchased this. I've done headlights on a few vehicles so far with great results. Some headlights take a little extra elbow grease and time but the end result is worth it. I also used this on a few heavier scratches after using the Chemical Guys yellow clay bar. 95% of the scratches are gone. Great Kit. I'll be re-stocking with the bigger bottles next time!

I bought this and followed the instructions and it worked great. Did not really need the Clay Luber spray as water worked just fine for the wet sanding. These were on my 2006 Mazda6.

I bought a 10yr old Cadillac that needed a little love, so I bought a whole truck load of chemical guys products including this headlight kit and a Torq 10fx. The main reason I decided to go with chemical guys was strictly their you tube videos, they show step by step for all of their products. I have never used them before and have always used other high end products but took a chance just based on the step by step videos. I am very happy with my results, it took quite a while to get all the factory coating off with the 2500, them I used the 3500 and polished it out with v36 on an orange pad and finished with v38 on a white pad with the Torq 10fx, then sealed with jet seal. But in the end it was well worth it. The only thing I will do different for the other side is start with 1500 that way it doesn't take so long.

Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this. I wanted to offer my customers headlight restoration service, so I bought this starter kit to get my feet wet. Following a CG video, I tried the products on my wife's van, with great results! I did have to wet sand longer than I expected, but it's difficult to attribute this to the product quality, as headlight size and oxidation levels, as well as clear coat thickness (the main issue on this van) and other variables differ for every job. The 4-star rating (instead of 5) is mostly because the sandpaper strips (1-2500 and 1-3500) barely lasted through the job, whereas I expected them to be reusable (as per the CG video, utilizing the same product).

Used it on my 2010 Camry and it worked great, headlight looks new. Next used it on my 2008 Minivan. With the 2000 grit it was not taking off the yellow so I went down to 600 grit, 1,000 grit, 2000 and the 3000. It worked great!

Products worked great all except the sand papers did not stick to the Hyper Flex Water Sanding Block. No worries, I just used them without the block. Was a bit tricky to sand around my round headlights, just took extra time. Of course I taped around the entire headlight to protect the paint. Loved the V32 and V36 Cutting and polishing compound. And the final application of Jet Seal did the trick.

I have always wanting to restore my headlights, but didn't know how it was done. Saw about three videos from Chemical Guys and just applied the techignue and it came out perfect. I did my girlfriend car which I had to use 2500 then 3500 sandpaper. I use V34 and V36 and last app was the jet seal. My car just use the Restore Headlights formula and jet seal. My headlights were not as oxidized. Great product and actually got other people want me to their cars. Great Job Chemical Guys 1st shot before; and the following 2 were finish product app
