Transpurrter is my second Travel Cat carrier -- the first is the Navigator backpack. Both of these are fantastic for my two, too intelligent kitties that have found a way to open every other cat carrier I have purchased -- until now. Travel Cat is the answer! Durable, stylish, and invincible! I wish I had found these first!!!

Great carrier for a regular-size cat, but the extra-large size is way too small for my 13.5 lbs girl Maine Coon. Weight-to-volume conversions don't apply to MC so this one is on me. I do want to compliment on how well it's designed and executed. I'm happy to see more small companies investing in quality and design and giving us an alternative to cheap sweatshop-made stuff that is 95% of PetCo, PetSmart, and Amazon's pet products. I understand it would be coming with a price tag but I would support it with my money, that's how I ended up purchasing the carrier. I would also like all industries, including pet industry to stop branding something thoughtfully designed, safely ethically well-made as "luxury" or "ultimate". Please, make it the new normal.

I’ve moved from USA to Spain then to Austria with my 12 lbs cat in this carrier and have no complaints! It has been allowed on every airline in the cabin- Delta, Iberia, Austrian air etc. and my cat loves it! The removable and washable lining is a huge plus and the many ways to carry it are so convenient. Zippers snap into place so it is very escape proof. Ventilation on all sides with privacy flaps make it perfect for a nervous cat but also to still breathe properly and comply with airline regulations. Worth the investment for sure

I looked at a LOT of less expensive carriers locally and couldn’t find anything that I felt was high quality enough or escape proof enough for flying a Maine Coon cat cross country. There were larger carriers that claimed to be ‘airline and TSA approved’ all to find out that in reality, they were neither. This carrier is a bit smaller than some making it airline/TSA approved but the cat did fit even though it was smallish for a Maine Coon. If you have a smart cat that is an escape artist, make sure to use the zipper locks! Many lesser carriers lack this important safety feature. Also being able to have the cat in a harness/leash that can then be attached inside the carrier is a huge plus so if kitty does escape, it’s difficult for them to get very far while dragging the carrier! I bought this carrier sight unseen upon the recommendation of others. When I received it, the high quality and ruggedness of the carrier and high quality of the materials was impressive. So much better than anything that I had seen locally. This thing is built like a tank. The privacy shades are a plus, the secure pockets are a plus. Having places to store collapsible food/water dishes, small bag of food and treats, cleaning wipes, etc. is another plus. Being able to slip food or treats into the carrier through the grommet holes without needing to open the carrier is huge! If you are looking for the Rolls Royce of cat carriers, this is it.

I ended up using almost all the different features during our first air travel, from the pockets, different carrying options and different windows to check in on my cats. I bought two of these for my two cats and we had no issues flying with them. Then I was able to secure them in the rental car and secure the lead lines to their harnesses. For that portion, I was able to leave the top flap open to let them see out the windows without worrying about them getting out. Can't say enough good things- this made my travel day so much easier.

Inside the carrier it even has toggles to attach to a harness before strapping the carrier into the seat.

After hurricane Helene trapped us within the rubble of our rural mountain community, we were able to climb/hike/wade the 13 miles back to civilization with our cats in the transpurrter carriers. If there were any time for them to find weak points in the carriers, it would’ve been then, as they were frenzied from the sounds of helicopters landing, currents rushing undertow, and ATVs plowing through mud. Without the carriers’ durability, hardy structure, and ease of use, our cats would’ve likely been injured or worse. I was so thankful to have something so high quality in this moment, and felt very secure even when relying upon the crossbody feature and going hands-free. Also, as many reviews have stated, they work beautifully for plane travel. Ha

Due to the square nature of that cheap carrier, I always felt like I was crushing my boy under the seat on the plane. This carrier has convertible straps, privacy flaps (so I don’t have to carry an extra shirt to “hide” the cat), and is designed to fit better under the airplane seat. The luggage strap also holds 1000% better than the previous one I had. Not as deep of pockets as I had before, but I have MORE pockets, and can quickly find my ID, cards, and passport in there. All in all, very pleased I got this for my travel buddy :).

This is a very well made carrier and gives lots of options for putting your cat in and out of it. The tray is also a very nice feature. Both my cats were interested and got into it on their own. The downside of this is it really only fits my smaller 10 lbs. boy Smokey. He's got enough room to be comfortable in it. My bigger boy, Leo, the orange cat, is cramped inside of it. I was going to get two of these for the boys for hour long trips to another home but it only really works for Smokey. I just bought a larger one for Leo from another company. I understand the size is limited by airline carryon sizing, which makes sense. Leo could ride in it but I just want him to have a little more room. Overall it's excellent with this limitations.
