On the page placement guide next to each tab are:

- page number references for each’s tab approximate location

- a colored number that corresponds which tab on the alignment card to use

NOTE: Some page numbers may be off as it is a reference to help you tab in the approximate part/portion of your book. Please verify and look at the correct page in your book before placing your tabs.

TAB DESCRIPTION

FUNCTION: Tabs are now created on higher quality, thicker, NON-REMOVABLE material.

TAB TYPE: Choose either "Type A" or "Type B" for your Tab Type. (See 4th listing photo for more details)

TYPE A: tab sticks to only one side of a page.

TYPE B: tab sticks to both sides of a page.

APPLICATION:

TAB TYPE B: Once tab is peeled from paper, slightly bend the pre-scored crease (just enough to give it some flexibility). Then apply tab on one side of the page, Flip over and gently press the other side of the tab to the page.

DURABILITY: The tabs are laminated which makes them thicker and durable. The lamination also protects and prevents the tabs from being stained, smudged, or torn.

TOP TABS:

• 1.6" inches in length

• Usually applied to the top of the page you are tabbing.

• Used to tab bigger sections of your book.

For Example: INTRODUCTION, CATEGORY II.

SIDE TABS:

• 1.1" inch in length

• Applied to the side of the page you are tabbing.

• Each side tab will have the chapter name and then underneath the code range.

For example: The side tab for Respiratory will have RESPIRATORY at the top of the tab and then the code range will be right below 30000 - 32999.

You can choose either DETAILED or SIMPLE side tabs.

A-Z TABS:

• Used to tab the index in your book.

• Please be cautious when placing the A-Z tabs as they may be unremovable due to the adhesive.

HELPFUL TIPS:

• Due to the higher quality materials used to make the tabs, the tabs are NOT removable.

• Please take your time applying your tabs. Verify and look at the correct page in your coding book before placing your tabs.

• Make sure you have only grabbed one page when applying a tab.

• We do not recommend removing a tab once it has been placed as this can damage/tear your book and tab. MEDICALCODINGTABSco is not responsible for any damages.
