I love love LOVE Transparent Labs products. I love how clean they are and the flavor varieties are awesome. HOWEVER..... this LEAN "pre-workout" is anything EXCEPT a pre-workout. In fact, within an hour of taking it, it makes me lethargic, heavy, slow, and less focused. I was hoping this would be the answer for me to help clear the morning brain fog and jumpstart my focus and energy for my day, instead I have to fight even harder to keep my eyes open and the brain fog is even worse. The heavy L-Theanine 1:1 ratio to caffeine creates an extreme sedative effect, cancelling out the caffeine altogether. For anyone looking for a morning pick-me-up or a post-work energy boost before a workout, beware. This product likely isnt going to do it for you. Now that i paid a premium price for this product, I suppose I will use it as a sleep aid instead of an energy booster.
