What is MFi Certification? 

As with all CANVAS products, our goal was to create a microphone that will become a long term part of your creator kit.  That's why we went the extra step of certifying our mic with the Apple's official lightning connector, rather than using a generic knock-off.  Generic lightning connectors are certainly cheaper in the short run, but not being MFi certified means that they may fail with the release of Apple's next OS, or future Apple devices.  Being MFi certified means that the CANVAS wireless microphone will be fully compatible with Apple lightning devices long into the future!
