We bought one for our first baby and decided to get another one for our second child. These clippers have been really good for us. I've even used them on my own nails a few times and they work perfectly. No problems at all.

I was afraid to trim my baby's nails so I used a nail file for the first two months. However, I kept noticing scratches on his face. So I decided to try using nail clippers instead. It's very simple and I haven't accidentally cut him yet. I suggest getting the nail clippers without the magnifying glass, as I don't find it necessary.

I am impressed with these nail clippers! I wish I had them for my previous child. Newborns have long nails that need to be trimmed or they might scratch themselves. These nail clippers work great for my baby, from birth to 6 months. I was nervous about cutting my baby's nails, but these clippers are really good. They are large and easy to hold onto, with a smooth handle. The wide base is helpful when my baby is moving around. You don't need to use the magnifier that comes with it, as it doesn't really help with cutting the nails. It might be useful for someone with poor eyesight though. Overall, I would buy these clippers again if I needed to.
