Moldavite is rarer than diamonds, precious, and can be pricey because so much of it has been mined and extracted from the Earth already. Many mines have closed, and mining on any site that isn't provisioned is prohibited as it is environmentally damaging. Extracting Moldavite is complex, environmentally damaging work, and refining it is also a delicate job, which makes it even more special.

Rough Moldavite will have the most sporadic output of energy. This means that if your piece is powerful and treated well, your Moldavite will quickly respond to you and your energy.
