I’ve used many eye primers yet the Rare Beauty ‘Always an Optimist’ is the best. The color, texture, and staying power are amazing. The feel is lightweight and texture smooth. My eyeshadow lasts all day and looks fresh even after a 12-hour shift. I wish Sephora still carried this product; it’s surprising they would stop selling such an amazing eye primer!

I love this product and I hope it continues to be available. I was very disappointed at first when I saw Sephora no longer carried it. My eyelids are very sensitive and this is the only product that helps me be able to wear eyeshadow.

Don’t need to use much to get great coverage. Other brands dry out my eyelids but this has been great so far. Eyeshadows stay on all day too.

Fantastic primer! Provides a little color correction without being white or opaque. Most importantly, it doesn’t settle in the lines on my eyelids. Perfect for mature skin!

This is the best eye primer I’ve tried so far. I’ve used up several tubes. It is lightweight, and seamless, holds the eyeshadow very well. I especially like that it's the same color as my skin tone.

My favorite eye primer- for me the best one on the market. Liquid, but still creamy consistency, super hydrating, doesn’t feel ‘caky’ or dry, and the slight color fits and blends perfectly! Also use it as a concealer where needed on my under eyes, nose and face. Sometimes even without eyeshadow. Please don’t ever discontinue! Thank you Rare Beauty!

Nice coverage, lightweight, comfortable to wear. The reason for dropping a star is because I do not have oily lids but do get a small crease appearing shortly after application, so I now know to apply before any other make up so that by the time I then wish to apply my eyeshadow, I can gently wipe a it’s the lids to remove the crease and then my make up sits nicely over the top.
