Quiet, flows well within my tank, I like that it has a thicker sponge for the intake so my fish fry and shrimp dont get caught in it! only makes noise when its pushing air, which is normal for any filter. Definitely buying more for my other tanks. Already has added so much more oxygen to my tank.

It seems to work well, I had a bad algae bloom from direct sunlight it turned pretty green very quickly. 20gallon hex tank I kept my original filter running also and added this one. this is over days 14 days its significantly clearer.

Put both in, not even an 2 hours later water is better than before. Last filter wasn’t doing a good job so both waters were like a brownish color. Love this filter! And didn’t take long at all to ship.
